So, I have that goal to give my best with that artwork and I think… I am doing well. Like… I stare at what I did here, not able to believe I improved that much. It takes me so damn long and I am scared blending the outlines out more and more, but the longer I work on it the more I love it. That’s splash art quality. WELL, it would be if I was good at doing backgrounds. But I suck at that.

So, I got better with shades, better with using references and I also need LESS references. Kodi helps me a lot by keeping my mood up and without his good eyes Fate’s cheek wouldn’t look so realistic and neat.

I just added more light above Fate’s lips (or more where Fate’s lips are supposed to be, haven’t really touched them yet) and before I did the eyes without a single reference and the glow… I have to light sources here and the shadow of the hat is fucking me up a bit, but god damn it, I did well here and.. maybe I am still extremely far from perfection, but… I am so proud I improved that much.
